Email Usage

1. How do you manage emails?

I always have a massive backlog of emails in my inbox.

I use inbox zero as my system of email management to ensure my inbox contains only a few new emails.

I constantly categories all email into folders so that I feel in control.

Very badly I wish I could find my inbox password!

2. Do your emails sync on your mobile phone?

If I check email on my mobile this will sync to my PC so that I can easily see which emails have already been read.

No sync occurs between my mobile and PC email.

I don't use email on my mobile.

3. How do you store your documents?

On your hard drive without a back-up.

On your hard drive with a regular back-up.

I use G Suite or Office 365 which auto syncs with my hard drive.

I use Dropbox which automatically syncs to the cloud any file that I save on my hard drive.

I don't have a PC. I proudly use a typewriter and go to the library to watch Netflix!

Phone Contacts

4. How do you store your smartphone telephone contacts?

My phone contacts sync with my PC via the cloud, so I always have an up to date backup if I lost my phone.

I backup my phone contacts to my PC on a frequent basis.

I don't have a phone backup of my contacts.

Due to fear that radiation could damage my already limited number of brain cells, I don't have a mobile phone.

5. Do you use two-factor ID to login to your email account?

Yes I use two-factor ID (an extra layer of security) to login to my email rather than just my password.

I just use my username and password to login to my email to make it simple.

I have no idea what two-factor ID is as I just recently retired my racing pigeon from delivery my mail.

Document Collaboration

6. How do you share a spreadsheet with a colleague? For example to collect their detailed sales numbers.

Email it as an attachment.

Share it in the cloud allocating them edit access.

Ask them to reply to the email with their numbers.

I am a bit scared of email so I walk across the office with my laptop and get them to type away.

Communication Methods

7. Do you use Slack, Hangouts Chat, MS Teams or other messaging apps for your work communicate?

I always use email to communicate with people.

I use an instant message type app to communicate and share ideas e.g.Slack, Hangouts Chat, MS Teams or Workplace by Facebook.

I have not heard of Slack, Hangouts Chat or MS Teams let alone used them.

I don't like talking to people and still live with my Mother.

8. How do you store interesting things that you need to remember? For example taking notes in a seminar or a website address.

I use a notebook and pen.

I use OneNote, Evernote or Google Keep.

I bookmark things on my browser that I want to save plus write notes in my notebook.

I have a photographic memory.
